APPROACHING VEHICLE SOUND FOR PEDESTRIANS (VSP) CONTROL UNIT : Removal & Installation

REMOVAL

Remove instrument lower panel. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove screw , and remove VSP control unit .

Disconnect harness connector from VSP control unit.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

When replacing VSP control unit, perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING VSP CONTROL UNIT". Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

REMOVAL

Remove front bumper fascia assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove mounting nuts .

Disconnect harness connector , and remove VSP speaker assembly (LH) .

Remove mounting bolt and nut .

Disconnect harness connector , and remove VSP speaker assembly (RH) .

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

DISASSEMBLY

Remove screws , and remove VSP speaker bracket (LH) .

Remove screws , and remove VSP speaker bracket (RH) .

ASSEMBLY

Assembly is in the reverse order of removal.
