Intelligent Rear View Mirror
COMPONENT FUNCTION WITHIN THE SYSTEM
Receives the LVDS (camera image signal) from intelligent rear view mirror camera and outputs to LCD monitor.
INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT FUNCTION
Controls the brightness adjustment, screen position adjustment, language settings and MENU text ON/OFF display switch over function to LCD monitor.
COMPONENT OPERATION
When the supply lever of intelligent rear view mirror lower part is in ON, switch from normal rear view mirror to intelligent rear view mirror.
COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION
This is installed in windshield glass. Refer to Component Parts Location.
Intelligent Rear View Mirror Camera
COMPONENT FUNCTION WITHIN THE SYSTEM
Sends the LVDS (camera image signal) to intelligent rear view mirror.
INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT FUNCTION
Power is supplied from intelligent rear view mirror camera and captures the vehicle rear side image.
COMPONENT OPERATION
Converts the captured image to LVDS (camera image signal).

Passenger Door Mirror Control Module
COMPONENT FUNCTION WITHIN SYSTEM
Passenger door mirror control module supplies mirror motor power supply in door mirror (passenger side) and operates door mirror (passenger side).
INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT FUNCTION

Passenger door mirror control module transmits the mirror motor power supply to door mirror (passenger side).

Passenger door mirror control module receives the mirror position signal from door mirror (passenger side).
COMPONENT OPERATION
-
The mirror control signal is transmitted to passenger door mirror control module from BCM via LIN communication.

When the mirror control signal is detected, passenger door mirror control module activated mirror motor (passenger side).
