OVERALL SEQUENCE

DETAILED FLOW

OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT SYMPTOM

Interview the customer to obtain as much information as possible about the conditions and environment under which the malfunction occurred.

GO TO 2.

CHECK SYMPTOM

• Check the symptom based on the information obtained from the customer.

• Check if any other malfunctions are present.

GO TO 3.

CHECK CONSULT SELF-DIAGNOSIS

CONSULT

1. Connect CONSULT and perform self-diagnosis. Refer to DTC Index.

2. When DTC is detected, follow the instructions below:

   • Record DTC and Freeze Frame Data.

Is any DTC detected?

YES>>

GO TO 5.

NO>>

GO TO 4.

NARROW DOWN THE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS BY SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS

Perform symptom diagnosis and narrow down the malfunctioning parts.

GO TO 5.

REPAIR OR REPLACE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

NOTE:

If DTC is detected, erase DTC after repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts.

GO TO 6.

FINAL CHECK

Check that the VSP system operates normally.

Does it operate normally?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

GO TO 1.

Additional Service When Replacing Vsp Control Unit

Diagnosis Procedure

SWITCH MODE TO "VSP ACTIVATION SETTING" MODE

CONSULT

1. Set Nissan Ariya vehicle to ready and wait for 2 seconds or more.

2. Select "Work Support" .

3. Select "VSP activation setting" mode in "Work Support" mode of “VSP”.

4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “VSP”.

Is "VSP activation setting" mode reflected?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

GO TO 2

CHECK DTC’S

CONSULT

1. Set Nissan Ariya vehicle to ready and wait for 2 seconds or more.

2. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “VSP”.

Is DTC “B2864” detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Description.

NO>>

Inspection End.
