INSPECTION OF THE CAN COMMUNICATION
Inspect the CAN communication circuit. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
INSPECTION OF THE HARNESS CONNECTOR
Power switch OFF.
Check mating conditions of the harness connector for the inverter (front).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
INSPECTION OF THE CONNECTOR TERMINAL
Disconnect the harness connector of the inverter (front).
Check the inverter (front) connector for water intrusion, or damage or corrosion of the terminals.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
INSPECTION OF POWER SWITCH CIRCUIT 1
Power switch ON.
Check the voltage between the harness connector of the inverter (front) and the body ground.

Drive the vehicle for at least 20 minutes to warm it up.
Fully depress the accelerator pedal and accelerate the Nissan Ariya vehicle from 0 km/h (0 MPH) to 10 km/h (6 MPH). Repeat this for 10 times without interruption to the maximum extent possible.
Stop the Nissan Ariya vehicle
Check the DTC.
Is “P0A2A-4B detected?
YES>>Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

CHECK FOR DTC RELATED TO THE HIGH VOLTAGE COOLING SYSTEM
With CONSULT
Power ON and wait at least 10 seconds.
Check "Self Diagnostic Result" of "EV/HEV".
Is a DTC related to the high voltage cooling system detected?
YES>>Check the detected DTC item. Refer to DTC Index.
NO>>GO TO 2.
INSPECTION OF COOLANT
Inspect the coolant level and leakage of coolant. Refer to COOLANT : Inspection.
YES>>
GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
INSPECTION OF THE COOLANT HOSE
Check for clogging or twisting of the hose of the oil coolant circuit for the front traction motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.

INSPECTION FOR FRONT TRACTION MOTOR OIL
Check visually for leakage of the front traction motor oil.
Is the inspection result normal?
