Sunroof Motor Assembly
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK FUSE
-
Power switch OFF.
-
Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).
Fuse No. Current rating 40 15 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Repair the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK SUNROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY

Disconnect sunroof motor assembly connector.
-
Power switch ON.
-
Check voltage between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.
(+) (–) Voltage Sunroof motor assembly Connector Terminal R12 6 Ground 9 - 16 V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK SUNROOF MOTOR ASSEMBLY GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.

YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Repair or replace harness.

Power switch OFF.

Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).

Is the fuse blown (open)?
YES>>Repair the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK SUNSHADE MOTOR ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY

Disconnect sunshade motor assembly connector.

Power switch ON.
-
Check voltage between sunshade motor assembly harness connector and ground.
(+) (–) Voltage Sunshade motor assembly Connector Terminal R14 6 Ground 9 - 16 V
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK SUNSHADE MOTOR ASSEMBLY GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between sunshade motor assembly harness connector and ground.
