FAIL-SAFE

Tire pressure monitoring system is suspended.

Confirmation Procedure

TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID REGISTRATION

Perform ID registration of rear left tire pressure sensor. Work Procedure

GO TO 2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION

Drive the Nissan Ariya vehicle at 40 km/h (25MPH) or more reaches 10 minuets in total.

NOTE:
Avoid driving in areas with radio interference.
Stop the Nissan Ariya vehicle.
Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" for "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" of "BCM".

Is DTC "C1744-21" detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Intermittent Incident

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

CHECK TIRE PRESSURE SIGNAL

With CONSULT

Select "BCM", AIR PRESSURE MONITOR", "Data Monitor" in this order.
Check the "Air pressure-rear left". Reference Value

NOTE:
BCM holds last tire pressure values during 17 minutes after power switch turns OFF.

Are all tire pressures displayed 767.25 kPa (111.2513 psi)?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

GO TO 3.

CHECK BCM POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Check BCM power supply circuit. Diagnosis Procedure

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID REGISTRATION

Perform ID registration of rear left tire pressure sensor. Work Procedure

Is tire pressure sensor ID registration completed?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Replace rear left tire pressure sensor. Removal and Installation

RECHECK TIRE PRESSURE SIGNAL

With CONSULT

Drive the Nissan Ariya vehicle at 40 km/h (25MPH) or more reaches 10 minuets in total.

NOTE:
Avoid driving in areas with radio interference.
Stop the Nissan Ariya vehicle.
Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" for "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" of "BCM".
