Seat Belt Buckle Switch

COMPONENT FUNCTION WITHIN SYSTEM

• Transmits seat belt buckle switch (driver side) signal to BCM.

• Transmits seat belt buckle switch (passenger side and rear) signal to air bag diagnosis sensor unit.

  

INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT FUNCTION

Detects fastened or unfastened status of seat belt.

COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION

Seat belt buckle switch is installed in the seat belt buckle. Refer to Component Parts Location.
