: MIN |
Refill to adjust level if it is out of the range.
CAUTION:
Refill NISSAN Genuine Super Long Life Coolant (blue) or equivalent. When refilling, use a product that is already diluted 50% of Super Long Life Coolant (blue).
Never dilute with water.
Check that the reservoir tank cap is surely tightened.
LEAKAGE CHECK
Apply pressure to the cooling system using radiator cap tester (A) (commercial service tool). Check system for coolant leakage.
Maximum pressure | : Refer to RADIATOR : Service Data. |
CAUTION:
Remove the reservoir tank cap when coolant temperature is low.
Check the radiator for leakage when radiator is full.
Use hose adapter (B) (commercial service tool) between radiator cap tester (A) (commercial service tool) and the filler neck not to deform the reservoir tank filler neck.
Observe the pressurization limit to prevent radiator from damaging.
If there is a malfunction, repair and replace applicable parts.
Check visually that the cooling water hose is not twisted, broken or crushed for smooth water flow.
CAUTION:
Do not add additives such as water leak preventives that may clog the radiator cooling water channel.

WARNING:
When coolant is hot, do not open reservoir tank cap and drain plug. Hot water may blow out and cause serious injury.
CAUTION:
Be sure to drain when coolant temperature is cold.
Work carefully so that coolant does not adhere to surrounding parts.
If reservoir tank coolant level drops, do not set the Nissan Ariya vehicle in READY state.
When removing or installing parts, send air from the reservoir tank to drain the coolant in the piping.
