Front Fender

Removal & Installation

REMOVAL

Remove front door panel. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Remove front fender baffle fixing clips, and then remove front fender baffle.

Remove front fender finisher. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Remove front fender protector. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Remove front bumper fascia and front bumper side bracket. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Remove front combination lamp. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Remove fender cover. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Remove sill cover. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Remove front wheel house inner reinforcement mounting bolts, and then remove front wheel house inner reinforcement.

Remove front fender assembly mounting bolts.

Disconnect harness connector (passenger side).

Remove front fender assembly.

Disengage front fender seal fixing pawls.

Disengage harness connector fixing clips, and then remove front fender seal.

Remove front fender bracket mounting bolts, and then remove front fender bracket.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

• After installation, adjust the following part.

  • Hood assembly: Refer to Adjustment.

  • Front door panel: Refer to Adjustment.

• After installation, apply the touch-up paint (the body color) onto the head of front fender mounting bolts.

Removal & Installation

REMOVAL

Fully open hood assembly.

Disengage fender cover fixing pawl.

Disengage fender cover fixing pawls, and then remove fender cover.

CAUTION:

When performing the procedure after removing fender cover, protect the lower of windshield glass with urethane etc.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
