Operating sunroof switch and check sunroof OPEN/CLOSE/Tilt UP/Tilt DOWN operations.

YES>>

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK SUNROOF SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Disconnect sunroof switch assembly connector.

3. Power switch ON.

4. Check voltage between sunroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

   R16	2	Ground	9 - 16 V
   	9
   	8

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK SUNROOF SWITCH CIRCUIT

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Disconnect sunroof motor assembly connector.

3. Check continuity between sunroof motor assembly harness connector and sunroof switch assembly harness connector.

4. Check continuity between sunroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace sunroof motor assembly. Refer to Removal & Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK SUNROOF SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Check continuity between sunroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

   Sunroof switch assembly		—	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   R16	10	Ground	Existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace the harness.

CHECK SUNROOF SWITCH

Check sunroof switch. Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Replace map lamp assembly. Refer to Removal & Installation.

Component Inspection

CHECK SUNROOF SWITCH

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Disconnect sunroof switch assembly connector.

3. Check continuity sunroof switch assembly terminals under the following conditions.

   2	10	Sunroof switch PUSH	Existed
   		Other than above	Not existed
   9		Sunroof switch OPEN	Existed
   		Other than above	Not existed
   8		Sunroof switch CLOSE	Existed
   		Other than above	Not existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace map lamp assembly. Refer to Removal & Installation.

CHECK SUNSHADE SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Disconnect sunroof switch assembly connector.

3. Power switch ON.

4. Check voltage between sunroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK SUNSHADE SWITCH CIRCUIT

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Disconnect sunshade motor assembly connector.

3. Check continuity between sunshade motor assembly harness connector and sunroof switch assembly harness connector.

4. Check continuity between sunroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

YES>>

Replace sunshade motor assembly. Refer to Removal & Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK SUNSHADE SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Check continuity between sunroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

   Sunroof switch assembly		—	Continuity

   R16	10	Ground	Existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace the harness.

CHECK SUNSHADE SWITCH

Check sunshade switch. Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Replace map lamp assembly. Refer to Removal & Installation.

1. Power switch OFF.

2. Disconnect sunroof switch assembly connector.

3. Check continuity sunroof switch assembly terminals under the following conditions.
